Our Purpose and Principles

Physician Care Homes exists to elevate the standard of memory care. Through clinical integrity, compassionate leadership, and strong partnership with families, we create environments where individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are supported with dignity and intention.

Our approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful care begins with truly knowing the individual. By maintaining small, home-like settings and strong caregiver-to-resident ratios, our teams are able to understand each resident’s story, preferences, and needs, allowing care to remain personal, consistent, and responsive.

We envision a world where individuals living with dementia are known, valued, and supported in environments that foster safety, connection, and meaningful daily life.

Our Core Values

  • Compassion
We meet every person with empathy, patience, and respect, honoring dignity and individuality in every interaction.

  • Clinical Integrity
We deliver care guided by ethical judgment, evidence-based practices, and accountability to the highest clinical standards.

  • Excellence & Expertise
We combine deep professional knowledge with a commitment to staying at the forefront of care, ensuring our standards never stand still.

  • Transparency & Trust
We communicate openly and honestly with families, partners, and one another to build confidence, clarity, and lasting trust.

Together, these principles guide every decision we make and every moment of care we provide.

A Letter from Our Founders

When we first began imagining Physician Care Homes, we were not thinking about buildings, floor plans, or programs. We were thinking about people.

We were thinking about families facing one of the hardest chapters of life. About spouses who want reassurance, adult children who want to do right by their parents, and individuals living with dementia who still deserve to feel known, valued, and at home.

Between us, we have spent years in medicine, senior care, and leadership. We have seen what works and we have also seen what is missing. Too often, memory care feels clinical, rushed, or disconnected from the humanity of the people it serves. We believed it could be different. We believed it had to be.

Magnolia House was created as an extension of that belief and the values that guide Physician Care Homes every day.

This is a place built on relationships first. A place where care is informed by medical insight but delivered with warmth, patience, and deep respect. A place where staff truly know the residents they care for, where families feel supported and included, and where dignity is never compromised.

We know that choosing memory care is never an easy decision. It comes with uncertainty, emotion, and trust. Our promise is to honor that trust every single day by creating an environment that feels safe, calm, and genuinely caring for both residents and their loved ones.

Magnolia House is more than a community. It is our commitment, alongside Physician Care Homes, to reimagining memory care with compassion, intention, and heart.

We are honored to walk this journey with you.

With gratitude,
Jeff & Marco

Our Approach to Care

At Physician Care Homes, our leadership team is closely involved in shaping how care is delivered across our communities. Our approach emphasizes presence over task, consistency over convenience, and relationships over routines.

This means caregivers are supported with the time, training, and clinical guidance needed to truly know each individual. Daily life is structured with intention, balancing safety and medical oversight with choice, engagement, and moments of joy.

Our communities are designed to feel like home, not institutions. Every detail, from caregiver ratios to daily rhythms, reflects our commitment to dignity, purpose, and meaningful connection.

Magnolia House embodies the kind of memory care many of us have long hoped to see. A place where presence matters, caregivers have the time to truly connect, and daily life is shaped with purpose and joy.
